Current roles
Algiz technology is looking to recruit two Sales Account Managers to join its expanding team. These are remote roles with occasional visits to our Head Office in Birmingham.
What we do
As companies update their computing infrastructure, they need to ensure that the software applications they use to run their businesses keep on running – and that’s where we come in. We ‘package’ their applications to ensure they’re compatible with updated Operating Systems and make them available to users regardless of whether they access them on their local desktop or stream them from cloud services.
We are a small, agile business that punches well above its weight, with clients including FTSE companies, central & local government, major banks and universities across the globe.
The candidate and the role
Are you a skilled field sales professional? Perhaps you’re a talented desk-based sales professional who wants to develop their experience in the field. If you’re not already in the IT sector, do you think you have the ability and ambition to succeed in this sector, given a chance? Algiz technology will provide full training on the technology.
The positions offer an entire end-to-end sales cycle and comprise a mix of office and field-based sales engagement. As well as contacting existing and potential customers, understanding their requirements and preparing and delivering solution proposals, and updating internal systems such as the CRM system, you’ll also be the first contact point for our Solution Partners.
The package
- A basic salary between £22,000 – £24,000 p.a.
- Car allowance
- Commission (where you could earn over £50,000 p.a.)

You’ll also benefit from full support from a sales administrator, training and mentoring from senior managers who have over 50 years of IT sales experience between them. You’ll also be armed with the knowledge that our services attract the attention of 1000’s of businesses (many of them household names) every month.
Officially based at our office in Birmingham, you’ll also be able to work remotely, with visits to HQ as required.

We’re looking for experienced Application Packagers to join us as the business continues to grow quickly.
The candidate and the role
The kind of future colleagues we’re looking for will:
- Have a minimum of 5 years Application Packaging.
- Strong working experience of Flexera Admin Studio, Microsoft App-V.
- Strong practical experience of Windows 10 migrations.
- Strong knowledge of VB Scripting, PowerShell, Batch scripting etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Have experience in packaging in various formats including:
- APP-V
- MSI
- MSIX
- CloudPaging (desirable but not mandatory)
- Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft delivery systems:
- SCCM
- InTune
